I’ve always loved photography. I can remember when I first started driving at the age of 16, I would just go for a drive simply just to find things to take pictures of. This was way before cell phones and Instagram, it’s always been part of who I am.
Joy is the ultimate fuel for your brain. You are designed to run on joy. Your brain was literally built to experience joy as it’s life-giving substance. Having “glad to be with you” experiences is the high-octane fuel that provides the smoothest ride for your life.
While working on a writing project recently I was asked, “Why don’t you use the word gratitude instead of appreciation?” The person asking is a fan of the Joyful Journey book and the interactive gratitude process taught in it. (And so am I!)
